We chanced upon Artisans Retreat whilst visiting the Manning Valley over the Christmas holidays. What a treat! Christine and Peter's gallery has a simply beautiful range of art, while the gallery design itself is intriguing. Don't miss out on the homemade chocolate mousse and crostoli at the cafe. That, with Peter's delicious coffee, would have rounded off a delightful visit. The biggest surprise for us was the workshops. We both did an intro into PMC (precious metal clay). Christine is a great teacher, and she and the silver clay were a lot of fun to work with. We were both thrilled about the whole day. Thank you so much. We'll be back!

Recently did our first woodturning workshop with Peter. He is an excellent teacher, who brings out the best in each student, while imparting so much knowledge in just a short time. Definitely worth the effort to travel to Tinonee. Christine and Peter's CraftStay was warm, welcoming and utterly fabulous. We're hooked!!!

Just wanted to say Thank You for the great time we had at Artisans Retreat.We found the accommodation excellent and very wheelchair friendly. Although we were guests, we always felt like we were visiting friends with whom we could happily sit and chat over a drink or enjoy one of your delicious home cooked meals.
We found the 2 day woodturning, tool sharpening & bandsaw workshop at Artisans Retreat to be fun and at the same time it gave us the skills to continue with our journey into the woodturning world.
Carol's newfound ability to operate the woodlathe from her wheelchair has opened up a whole new field of endeavour.
We would thoroughly recommend the Artisans Retreat experience to anyone who is interested in gaining new skills and at the same time enjoy the wonderful hospitality of Peter and Christine - We will be back!!
