
Introduction classes
Imagine creating your lovely piece in clay, then have it magically transform into solid Fine Silver!
The first PMC class is designed to introduce you to the material and how to manipulate it. The three-hour class will include the use of 10 grams of PMC product. You will make a slab pendant, which may include cubic zirconia.
Skills taught include:
- Use of PMC – do's and don'ts
- Thicknesses and their uses
- Shaping PMC pieces
- Making of slab pendant
- Making of bails
- Setting stones – different methods
- Use of Syringe and Paste
- Drying and refining pieces – sanding, trimming, mending, cleaning of stones
- Firing
- Polishing – different methods and their uses.
Beginner's class includes all necessary tools, 10grams PMC, use of syringe and paste forms of PMC, and firing.
One morning OR afternoon class (includes morning or afternoon tea) Minimum two, maximum four people per class.
Cost: $145 per person
Deposit required: $50 (non-refundable, can be transferred)
Project based classes
Following the introductory classes, subsequent classes become project based. You can learn to use the Syringe based PMC to create filigree jewellery or use more slab PMC to create a ring, or use Cork Clay and PMC Paste to create hollow form jewellery pieces and much more!
Choose either a morning or afternoon class. Just purchase the materials you want to create with!
Each class includes the use of tools only, firing of your pieces plus morning or afternoon tea.
Cost: $55 per person plus materials (Three hours plus morning tea)
